Waikiki on King Street , or the E CountryExpress Waikiki on Bishop Street . The 2 and 13 run about 10 minutes apart. 

The 19, 20 and 42 run 15 minutes apart.  The B and E run 30 minutes apart.

Bus to Return:
  • 6 Woodlawn Drive via East-West Transfer to: 4 University-Waikiki
To return, you may take the 6 Woodlawn Drive via East-West bus to Maile Way & University Avenue. Walk over to University Avenue below Metcalf Street and transfer to 4 University-Waikiki. The 4 runs 15-20 minutes apart on weekdays, and 20-40 minutes on the weekends. The 6 runs about 20 minutes apart, but does not run on to East-West Road on Sundays. 

Approximate travel on the Route 4 is 25 minutes.

Transfer at the center to 62 Wahiawa Heights and ride to the junction of Kamehameha Hwy and Ka Uka Boulevard in Waipio.

To return, board 62 Honolulu -Ala Moana and ride to the Ala Moana Center . On Kona Street in the center, transfer to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. 8, 19, 20, 23, 42 and E Country Express run frequently. Route 62 runs 30 minutes apart. 
Approximate travel time is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

To return, board the 432 Waipahu Transit Center back to the center, and wait for the 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels bus or E Country Express . The 42/E runs 30 minutes apart. The 432 runs 30 minutes apart.

To return, cross Pali Hwy and board 4 University-Waikiki. Buses run about 15-20 minutes apart on weekdays, less frequent during the evenings and weekends. 

Approximate travel time is 1 hour 10 minutes. 

You could also try an alternate route to save some travel time. 

On Kuhio Avenue, Saratoga Road or Kalia Road heading away from Diamond Head, board 8 Ala Moana Center, 19 Airport-Hickam, 20 Airport-Pearlridge, 23 Waikiki-Ala Moana Center, or 42 Ewa Beach to the Ala Moana Center and transfer to either the 55 Kaneohe-Circle Isle, 56 Kailua-Kaneohe, 57A Kailua-Keolu, 57 Kailua-Sea Life Park, 57 Kailua-Waimanalo, or 65 Kaneohe-Kahaluu and ride to the palace. 

To return, cross Pali Hwy and board 55, 56, 57 or 65 Honolulu-Ala Moana, and transfer in the center to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels.
