Bus to Return: 

• 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels 

To return, board 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels on Kona Street . Buses run approximately 10 minutes apart. 
 

Travel time is approximately 15-20 minutes. 

• 20 Airport-Pearlridge
• 42 Ewa Beach

On Kuhio Avenue, Saratoga Road or Kalia Road heading away from Diamond Head, board the 20 Airport-Pearlridge or 42 Ewa Beach. These buses will take you to Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Blvd. where you will alight. 

To return, stand on Kamehameha Highway heading in the Waikiki direction and wait for the 20 or 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels bus. 

You may also board 40 or 62 Honolulu-Ala Moana and ride to the Ala Moana Center .  Transfer on Kona Street to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. The 20 runs 40 minutes apart on weekdays and 50 minutes apart on weekends.  The 42 runs every 30 minutes during the day and less frequent in the evenings. The 40 and 62 each run 30 minutes apart. 

Approximate travel time is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

On Kuhio Avenue, Saratoga Road or Kalia Road heading away from Diamond Head, board 19 Airport-Hickam,  20 Airport-Pearlridge or E CountryExpress! Ewa Beach and alight on Alakea Street and Nimitz Hwy. Cross Nimitz Hwy to the Marketplace. 


Bus to Waikiki: 

• 19 Waikiki Beach and Hotels
• 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels

Walk to the bus stop along Aloha Tower Drive near Pier 7 and take E CountryExpress ! Waikiki .  You could also take 55, 56 or 57 Honolulu-Ala Moana and ride to the Ala Moana Shopping Center . Change on Kona Street to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. Buses run about 20 minutes apart.

Approximate travel time is 30 minutes.

• 2 School Street-Middle Street
• 13 Liliha-Puunui Avenue
• Route B - CityExpress! School-Middle

On Kuhio Avenue heading away from Diamond Head , board the 2 School Street-Middle Street or 13 Liliha-Puunui Avenue to Hotel and River streets. To return, walk back to Hotel Street and in the Waikiki direction board the 2 Waikiki-Kapiolani Park or 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue . If you board the Route B - CityExpress! School-Middle bus at a designated Express! stop on Kuhio Avenue , alight on Beretania and River streets. 


Bus to Return:  

• 2 Waikiki-Kapiolani Park
• 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue 
• Route B - CityExpress! Waikiki

To return on the route B walk to King and Maunakea Streets and take Route B - CityExpress! Waikiki . You could also board 19, 20 or 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels on King Street . Buses run about 10 minutes apart.

To return, take the 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels opposite the Dole Cannery Square . 

Approximate travel time is 40 minutes and buses run about 20 minutes apart.

• 52 Wahiawa-Circle Isle

On Kuhio Avenue, Saratoga Road or Kalia Road heading away from Diamond Head, board either 8 Ala Moana Center, 19 Airport-Hickam, 20 Airport- Pearlridge, 23 Waikiki-Ala Moana or 42 Ewa Beach and ride to the Ala Moana Center. Transfer at the shopping center to 52 Wahiawa -Circle Isle and alight at the Plantation . 

Bus to Return: 

• 52 Honolulu-Ala Moana

To return, board 52 Honolulu -Ala Moana and transfer on Kona Street at the Ala Moana Center to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. 8, 19, 20, 23 and 42 run frequently. The 52 runs 30 minutes apart.

To return board the 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels bus on Pacific Street . The 19 and 20 run about 20 minutes apart.

Along Kalia Road , Saratoga Road or Kuhio Avenue heading in the Diamond Head direction, board the 23 Hawaii Kai-Sea Life Park bus. On Kuhio Avenue , you could also board the 22 (Bus cancelled on Tuesdays) Hawaii Kai-Sea Life Park bus. Alight on Kilauea Avenue opposite Kahala Mall.   You may also board 2, 13 or B on Kuhio Avenue to Kalakaua and King Streets.  Stand on King at the Tesoro Gas Station and change to 1 Hawaii Kai or 1 Kahala Mall.


Bus to Return: 

• 22 Waikiki Beach and Hotels  (Bus cancelled on Tuesdays)
• 23 Waikiki-Ala Moana

To return, board either the 23 Waikiki -Ala Moana or 22 Waikiki Beach and Hotels (Bus cancelled on Tuesdays)  on Kilauea Avenue . Buses run about 30 minutes apart. The last bus on Kilauea Avenue back to Waikiki on weekdays is 7:59 p.m. , 7:40 p.m. on Saturdays, 8:00 p.m. on Sundays and 7:57 p.m. on State Holidays.  You may also stand on Waialae Avenue and take 1 Kalihi to Beretania/Kalakaua intersection fronting Foodland.  Walk along Kalakaua Avenue to the bus stop after passing King Street .Change to 2 Waikiki-Kapiolani Park , 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue or B CityExpress! Waikiki .

• 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels 

To return, walk down to Kamehameha Hwy and take 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. You may also board the 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels bus on Kaonohi Street . You may also board 40, 53 or 62 Honolulu-Ala Moana buses and change on Kona Street in the Ala Moana Center to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. The 20 runs 40 minutes apart on weekdays and 50 minutes apart on weekends. The 42 runs 30 minutes apart. 


Approximate travel time is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

From Kuhio Avenue heading away from Diamond Head board 2 or 13 to Beretania and Keeaumoku streets. Walk three blocks toward the ocean on Keeaumoku Street to Liona Street .


Bus to Return: 

• 2 Waikiki - Kapiolani Park
• 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue

To return, walk one block toward the mountains along Keeaumoku Street to King Street . On King Street board 2 Waikiki - Kapiolani Park or 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue . The 2 and 13 run less than 10 minutes apart.


Approximate travel time is 20 minutes. 

• 20 Airport-Pearlridge
• 42 Ewa Beach

From Kuhio Avenue, Saratoga Road or Kalia Road heading away from Diamond Head, you may board the 20 Airport-Pearlridge or 42 Ewa Beach directly to Pearlridge Center and opposite Pearl Kai Center. You may also return with the 20 and 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. From Waikiki , you may also choose to take the 8 Ala Moana Center, 19 Airport-Hickam or 23 Waikiki - Ala Moana Center and ride to the Ala Moana Center . From the center, you may transfer to 40 Makaha Beach , 40A Makaha Towers , 53 Pacific Heights or 62 Wahiawa Heights . These buses will also pass Pearlridge Center and Pearl Kai Shopping Center on Kamehameha Hwy.  

Bus to Return:  

• 20 or 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels

To return by using these buses, stand on Kamehameha Hwy opposite the Pearlridge Center and board 40, 53 or 62 Honolulu-Ala Moana and ride to Kona Street in the Ala Moana Shopping Center . Transfer to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. Buses run about 15-20 minutes apart.
