Bus to Board:
  • 2 School Street-Middle
  • 13 Liliha-Puunui Avenue
  • Route B - CityExpress! School-Middle
  • Transfer to: 
  • 15 Pacific Heights on Alapai Street
From Kuhio Avenue heading away from Diamond Head , board the 2 School- Middle Street ,13 Liliha-Puunui, or Route B - CityExpress! School-Middle (at designated Express! stops) and ride to Beretania and Alapai streets. Walk toward the ocean one block to the bus stop on Alapai Street and transfer to the 15 Pacific Heights bus. Ride to the cemetery entrance at Puowaina and Hookui streets. The walk into the cemetery and memorial takes about 15 minutes. 

Bus to Return:
  • 15 Alapai Transit Center to King Street/Ward Avenue
  • Transfer to: 
  • 2 Waikiki Kapiolani Park
  • 13 Waikiki Campbell Avenue
  • Route B - CityExpress! Waikiki
To return, walk back to Puowaina and Hookui streets and take the 15 Alapai Transit Center bus in the opposite direction from where you got off, and ride to Ward Avenue and King Street . Stand on King Street in front of the Blaisdell Concert Hall and transfer to 2 Waikiki-Kapiolani Park , 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue or Route B - CityExpress! Waikiki . The 2 and 13 run about 10 minutes apart. The 15 runs once an hour. 

Approximate travel time is 45 minutes.
