The 2 and 13 run about 10 minutes apart. Route B runs 15 minutes apart.

To return, stand on School Street in the opposite direction from where you alighted and board the 2 Waikiki-Kapiolani Park or Route B City Express! Waikiki bus. Buses run about 10- 15 minutes apart.

On Kuhio Avenue heading away from Diamond Head, board 2 School-Middle Street, 13 Liliha-Puunui Avenue or Route B - CityExpress!  School-Middle (at designated Express! stops) to the corner of Beretania and Alapai streets opposite the Honolulu Police Department. Walk toward the ocean one block on Alapai Street and transfer to the 15 Pacific Heights bus. Get off on Makiki Heights Drive in front of the museum. 

To return, stand on Makiki Heights Drive in the opposite direction from where you got off and wait for the 15 Alapai Transit Center bus to King Street. Alight at Ward Avenue and King Street and transfer on King Street fronting the Blaisdell Concert Hall to 2 Waikiki-Kapiolani Park, 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue or Route B - CityExpress! Waikiki. The 2 and 13 run about 10 minutes apart. Route B runs 15 minutes apart. The 15 runs once an hour.

Ewa Beach and alight on Ala Moana Blvd. fronting the Prince Kuhio Federal Building. Cross the street to Pier 7. To return, board E CountryExpress! Waikiki direct to Waikiki, or take 55, 56, 57 or 65 Honolulu-Ala Moana Center fronting the Falls of Clyde and ride to the Ala Moana Center on Kona Street. Transfer to 8, 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. You could also walk to Ala Moana Blvd. at South Street or stand at the bus stop on Punchbowl Street above Ala Moana Blvd. and take the 19, 20 or 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels to avoid transfering buses. Buses run about 15-20 minutes apart.

The route 4 bus will take you to Punchbowl and King Streets.  To return, stand at the bus stop on King Street at Punchbowl Street and wait for 2 Waikiki-Kapiolani Park, 4 University-Waikiki, 13 Waikiki-Campbell Avenue, 19, 20 or 42 Waikiki Beach and Hotels or the Route B - CityExpress! Waikiki. Buses run about every 10 minutes.
