MAYOR’S REMEMBRANCE WALK

The MAYOR’S REMEMBRANCE WALK will be held on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2023, with road closures starting from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event is expected to have more than 200 marchers that will stage within the lane closures on Beretania Street. The march will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Beretania Street, fronting the Honolulu Police Department building, continuing along Beretania Street, turn left onto Alapai Street, and then proceed makai towards Queens Street (where the ceremony is to be held on Queen fronting HFD Headquarters.) After the ceremony, the walk will continue onto Punchbowl Street and will end at the Honolulu Hale grounds.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	3, 4, 6, 9, 13, 20, 40, 42, A, C, & E
AFFECTED AREAS:	The three makai lanes of Beretania Street between Ward Avenue and Alapai Street, South Street, Queen Street between South Street and Punchbowl Street, and Punchbowl Street

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapiolani/South, right South, right King, left into Alapai Transit, right Alapai, left Beretania, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-MCCULLY

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Beretania/Punchbowl, continue on Beretania, left Richards, left King, right Punchbowl, right Queen, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 6, PAUOA-WOODLAWN

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Queen/Punchbowl, right Punchbowl, left Pohukaina, left South, right Queen, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Queen/South, right South, right King, left into Alapai Transit, right Alapai, left Beretania, left Richards, left King, right Punchbowl, right Queen, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 20, WAIKIKI-ALOHA STADIUM
