FULL CLOSURE TO FARRINGTON HIGHWAY FOR MAKAHA BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

 

The Hawaii Department of Transportation will be doing a full closure of Farrington Highway in both directions, between Makaha Valley Road and Kili Drive, for the construction of the permanent abutment to the Makaha Bridge No. 3. The closure will be starting from 8:00 p.m., on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2023 THROUGH 8:00 p.m. on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2023.  During closure hours, all traffic through the area will be detoured at Makaha Valley Road and Kili Drive.

AFFECTED AREA:

Road closure to Farrington Highway between Kili Drive and Lawaia Street

STARTING:

8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023

ENDING:

8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023, or unless as directed by Police

ROUTE 93, WAIANAE COAST EXPRESS-CBD

ROUTE C, COUNTRY EXPRESS!

ROUTE PH1, WAIANAE COAST-PEARL HARBOR


 


Eastbound:    TheBus will travel from temporary terminus, continue on Farrington, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to Farrington/Upena [East], left Upena, right Widemann, right Upena, right Farrington, and then travel to temporary terminus at Farrington/Upena [West] (Stop #604).
