CHINATOWN OPEN HOUSE NIGHT

 

 

The CHINATOWN OPEN HOUSE NIGHT will be held on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2024.  This event will close Hotel Street, King Street, Nuuanu Avenue, and Bethel Street in the Central Business District intermittently.  TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

1, 1L, 2, 2L, 3, 4, 9, 11, 13, 20, 40, 42, 43, 51, 52, 53, 54, 151, A, & C

AFFECTED AREA:

No service on Hotel Street, King Street, Nuuanu Street, eastbound and along Bethel Street, Queens Street, Bishop Street & Fort Street westbound.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:               

 

ROUTE 1, KAIMUKI-KALIHI

ROUTE 2, WAIKIKI-SCHOOL-KAHALA

ROUTE 3, KAIMUKI-SALT LAKE

ROUTE 9, KAIMUKI-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE 13, LILIHA-WAIKIKI-UNIVERSITY

 

Eastbound:    Detour at 7:30 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/Iwilei, right Iwilei, left Pacific, left Nimitz, left Bethel, right King, and then resume the regular route after crossing Richards.

                        NOTE – Upon the reopening of King St.: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/Iwilei, continue on King, and then resume the regular route after crossing Richards.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to Beretania/Punchbowl, continue on Beretania, right King, resuming regular route.

 

ROUTE 1L, HAWAII KAI LIMITED STOPS-ALOHA STADIUM VIA SALT LAKE

ROUTE 2L, KALIHI-WAIKIKI-KAHALA LIMITED

 

Eastbound:    Detour at 5:30 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/Iwilei, veer left onto Hotel St, right Richards, left King, and then resume the regular route. 

                        Detour at 7:30 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/Iwilei, right Iwilei, left Pacific, left Nimitz, left Bethel, right King, and then resume the regular route after crossing Richards.

 

Westbound:   No detour.

 

ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-MCCULLY

 

Eastbound:    Detour at 5:30 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to Nuuanu/Vineyard, left Vineyard, right Pali, onto Bishop, left King, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 20, WAIKIKI-ALOHA STADIUM

 

Eastbound:    Detour at 5:30 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to Iwilei/Kuwili, left Kuwili, left Pine, left Sumner, right Iwilei, left Pacific, left Nimitz, left Bethel, right King, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   No detour.
