FULL CLOSURE TO ‘EXIT
16’ - WESTBOUND AIRPORT
OFF-RAMP FROM H-1 FREEWAY
The Hawaii Department of Transportation
(HDOT), Highways Division, will be conducting full nightly closures of the
‘EXIT 16’ westbound off-ramp for the installation of in-lane rumble bars. The closure will be from the H-1 Freeway towards the
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL Airport), starting on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2024, THROUGH THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8,
2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. During
the closure, traffic will be detoured onto Nimitz Highway, where they may
access the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL Airport).

HICKAM-AIRPORT-KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER
Eastbound: No detour.
Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalihi
Transit Center/MIddle, left Middle to
Middle/Kamehameha, right Kamehameha, onto Nimitz, left Rodgers, right Aolele, take ramp for Airport Upper Level, proceed to
Inter-Island stop, and then resume the regular route.
