KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER –

CLOSURE TO EWA-SIDE PLATFORM

STG will be conducting concrete demolition work and removal at the Kalihi Transit Center. The roadway along the ewa-side of the Kalihi Transit Center platform will be closed off, starting at 7:30 a.m. on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2024, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. During the closure, all routes servicing the ewa-side of Kalihi Transit Centers’ platform will be redirected to utilize the Diamond Head side of the facility.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	1L, 32, 43, 61, 301, 302, 303, & 306
AFFECTED AREA:	Ewa side platform for Kalihi Transit Center.
STARTING:	7:30 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024, until further notice
TIME:	24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 1L, HAWAII KAI LIMITED STOPS-ALOHA STADIUM via SALT LAKE

Eastbound: From the layover area, TheBus will proceed onto the Kalihi Transit Center driveway, left into the transit platform loop to the designated loading bay [BAY 3], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, left Kalihi Transit Center driveway, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Middle/Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, left Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, continue past the Ewa side platform exit, right to enter platform loop to designated bus bay [BAY 3], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, continue counter-clockwise to layover area.

ROUTE 32, KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER-FOSTER VILLAGE-PEARLRIDGE

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: From the layover area, TheBus will proceed onto the Kalihi Transit Center driveway, left into the transit platform loop to the designated loading bay [BAY 2], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, left Kalihi Transit Center driveway, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 43, WAIPAHU-HONOLULU-ALAPAI

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Middle/Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, right Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, continue past the Ewa side platform exit, right to enter platform loop to designated bus bay [BAY 3], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, left Kalihi Transit Center driveway, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 61, KALIHI-KANEOHE-AIKAHI

Eastbound: From the layover area, TheBus proceed onto the Kalihi Transit Center driveway, left into the transit platform loop to the designated loading bay [BAY 1], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, left Kalihi Transit Center driveway, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: No detour.

ROUTE 301, TRIPLER-KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER

Eastbound: From the layover area, TheBus will proceed onto the Kalihi Transit Center driveway, left into the transit platform loop to the designated loading bay [BAY 1], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, left Kalihi Transit Center driveway, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Middle/Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, left Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, continue past the Ewa side platform exit, right to enter platform loop to designated bus bay [BAY 1], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, continue counter-clockwise to layover area.

ROUTE 302, MOANALUA VALLEY-KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Middle/Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, left Kalihi Transit Center Driveway, continue past the Ewa side platform exit, right to enter platform loop to designated bus bay [BAY 2], left into Paratransit parking area, left at second parking aisle, continue counter-clockwise to layover area.
