NA WAHINE SPRINT TRIATHLON
The NA
WAHINE SPRINT TRIATHLON will be held on SUNDAY, AUGUST 4, 2024, starting with the swim course at 6:00 a.m. Approximately 300 participants will attend this
event. The running and biking portions will take place in the Kapiolani Park,
Monsarrat, Diamond Head, Kaimuki, and Kahala areas. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:
ROUTE 2, SCHOOL-WAIKIKI-KAHALA
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to
Monsarrat/Makapuu, left Makapuu, right Kilauea, and then resume the regular
route after crossing over 18th Ave.
Westbound: No detour.
ROUTE 8, MAKIKI-ALA MOANA-WAIKIKI
ROUTE 42, EWA BEACH-WAIKIKI
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to
Kuhio/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, and then turn right Leahi
to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.
Westbound: From Leahi/Hinano, TheBus will continue on Leahi, right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular
route.
ROUTE 9, KAIMUKI-PEARL HARBOR
Eastbound: No detour.
Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kilauea/Makapuu,
continue on Kilauea, left 18th, and then resume the regular
route.
ROUTE 14, ST.
LOUIS-MAUNALANI
Eastbound: No detour.
Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to
Kahala/Elepaio, right Elepaio,
left Kilauea, left 18th, right Diamond Head onto Monsarrat, right Paki, and
then resume the regular route.
ROUTE 20, WAIKIKI-ALOHA STADIUM
Eastbound: TheBus
will travel the regular route to Poni Moi/Paki, wait for HPD to allow units to make
the left turn onto Paki, and use caution when traveling on Paki.
Westbound:
No detour.
ROUTE 23, ALA MOANA-SEA LIFE PARK
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Kapahulu,
left Kapahulu, right Leahi, left Monsarrat, left
Makapuu, right Kilauea, and then resume the regular route after passing 18th
Ave.
Westbound: No detour.
ROUTE 24, KAPAHULU-AINA HAINA
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapahulu/Ala
Wai, right Ala Wai, left Ohua, left Kuhio, left
Kapahulu, right Leahi, left Monsarrat, left Makapuu,
right Kilauea, and then resume the regular route after passing 18th
Ave.
Westbound: No detour.
ROUTE W1, WAIPAHU VIA FARRINGTON EXPRESS
ROUTE W2, WAIPAHU VIA PAIWA EXPRESS
ROUTE W3, KALIHI VIA SCHOOL STREET EXPRESS
