HAWAII KAI HOLIDAY PARADE

The HAWAII KAI HOLIDAY PARADE will be held on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2024. This event is expected to have 1,200 marchers, 30 vehicles, and 4 bands.  The parade will begin at Kamiloiki Elementary School proceed onto Hawaii Kai Drive, left onto Lunalilo Home Road, to end at Koko Marina Shopping Center. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	1, 1L, & 23
AFFECTED AREAS:	Abbreviated service on Lunalilo Home Road, Wailua Street, and Hawaii Kai Drive.
DATE:	Saturday, November 30, 2024
TIME:	9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 1, KALIHI-KAHALA

ROUTE 1L, HALAWA-HAWAII KAI

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Lunalilo Home/Hawaii Kai, continue on Lunalilo Home into the contra-flow lane, and then resume the regular route after crossing Kaumakani.

ROUTE 23, KAHALA-SEA LIFE PARK

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Hawaii Kai Park and Ride after servicing the Park and Ride, right Keahole, left Kalanianaole, left Lunalilo Home, and then resume the regular route after crossing Wailua.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Hawaii Kai/Ahukini, left Ahukini, left Lunalilo Home into the contra-flow lane, right Kalanianaole, right Keahole, left into the Hawaii Kai Park and Ride, and then resume the regular route.
