NIGHT IN CHINATOWN STREET FESTIVAL AND PARADE

 

 

The NIGHT IN CHINATOWN STREET FESTIVAL AND PARADE will be held on SATURDAY, JANUARY 25, 2025.  This festival will close all lanes and sidewalk areas of Beretania Street, from Maunakea Street to Aala Street from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.  There will also be a parade closure from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The parade will consist of 200 marchers, 20 vehicles, and 2 bands. It will start at Richards Street / Hotel Street, proceed west on Hotel Street, and end at River Street. During these events, there will be intermittent lane closures within the Central Business District area. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED AREA:

There will be no service on Beretania Street between Maunakea Street and Aala Street, Hotel Street between Richard Street and River Street, Nuuanu Street, along Bethel Street, Alakea Street, Bishop Street & Fort Street.

Eastbound:    Detour at 3:00 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/Iwilei, continue on King, and then resume the regular route after crossing Richards.

 

Westbound:   Detour at 3:00 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to Beretania/Punchbowl, continue on Beretania to Beretania/Nuuanu, right Nuuanu, left Kukui, left Aala, right Beretania, right King, and then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-McCULLY

Eastbound:    Detour at 3:00 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to Nuuanu/Kukui, right Vineyard, left Liliha, left King, after crossing Nuuanu, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   Detour at 3:00 p.m.: TheBus will travel the regular route to Bethel/King, right King, left Alapai, left Beretania, right Nuuanu, and then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE 6, PAUOA-WOODLAWN
