HALEIWA TRIATHLON

The HALEIWA TRIATHLON will be held on SUNDAY, JUNE 15, 2025. This event is expected to have 200 participants. It will start at Haleiwa Beach Park and utilize the Makai-bound lanes on Kamehameha Highway through Haleiwa Town. Operators are reminded to exercise patience and caution when operating with cyclists in the area. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	52 & 60
AFFECTED AREAS:	No service on Kamehameha Highway between Weed Circle and Haleiwa Beach Park in the Makai-bound direction.
DATE:	Sunday, June 15, 2025
TIME:	From 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 52, HONOLULU-MILILANI-HALEIWA

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kamehameha/Joseph P Leong Bypass Rd., continue on Joseph P Leong, left Kamehameha, to the terminus located at Weed Circle/Kaukonahua (stop #2206).

ROUTE 60, HONOLULU-KANEOHE-HALEIWA

Eastbound: From the temporary terminus at Weed Circle/Kaukonahua, TheBus will continue on Weed Circle, right Waialua Beach Rd, right Haleiwa Rd, right Kamehameha, back onto Weed Circle, right Kamehameha, left Joseph P. Leong Hwy, and then resume the regular route after crossing Kamehameha.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kamehameha/Weed Circle, continue on Weed Circle to the temporary terminus located at Weed Circle/Kaukonahua (stop #2206).
