FARRINGTON HIGHWAY WIDENING PROJECT

 

The Hawaii Department of Transportation will conduct a full closure of the eastbound lanes on Farrington Highway between Old Fort Weaver Road and the Fort Weaver Road on-ramp.  As a result, the bus stop located at Farrington Highway / Old Fort Weaver Road (stop #1314) will be closed starting MONDAY, JULY 7, 2025, THROUGH FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2026, 24 HOURS A DAY / 7 DAYS A WEEK.  During the project, traffic on Farrington Highway will be detoured onto Old Fort Weaver Road, where they may continue east to reenter Farrington Highway at the opposite end.  Passengers can board the buses at the portable located on Old Fort Weaver Road, 50 feet prior to Farrington Highway.

No service at Farrington Highway / Old Fort Weaver Road (stop #1314).

DATES:

Monday, July 7, 2025, through Friday, March 27, 2026

TIME:

24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by Police.

ROUTE 40, HONOLULU-MAKAHA

ROUTE 99, WAHIAWA-MILILANI-WAIPAHU-KAPOLEI

 


Eastbound:    From Farrington/Old Fort Weaver, TheBus will travel right Old Fort Weaver to stop sign, left Old Fort Weaver, right Farrington, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   No detour.
