HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC – ALAKEA STREET

UNDERGROUND UTILITY WORK

HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY will conduct underground utility work within the Alakea Street / Queen Street intersection. The utility crew will access the work area through the Alakea Street manholes on TUESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2025, AND FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please expect traffic delays.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	4, 6, & 7
AFFECTED AREA:	Service delays along Alakea Street and Queen Street.
DATE:	Tuesday, August 19, 2025 and Friday, August 22, 2025
TIME:	8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 6, PAUOA-WOODLAWN

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Queen/Alakea, continue on Queen, left Bishop, left Nimitz, left Alakea, and then resume the regular route after crossing over Queen.
