AHUA STREET OVERPASS CLOSURE
DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION - Highways Division, will be conducting a full closure of the Ahua Street overpass for repair work to the street lighting and
rusted equipment. Therefore, the bus stop located at Kikowaena Street / Ahua Street (stop #2816) will be
closed, from 3:30 a.m. to 7:00
a.m., on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2025. This closure will affect the traffic flow through the area and will
cause delays throughout the duration of the roadwork. Passengers can board
buses at the Pukoloa Street / Ahua Street (stop
#2817) bus stop.

Road-Tripler Hospital” exit, left Puuloa, left King
Street Frontage “H201 – EAST HONOLULU”, veer right to access Paa, left Ahua, after
crossing over Kikowaena, and then resume the regular
route.
