FULL ROAD CLOSURE – UTILITY WORK ON WYLLIE STREET  

 

HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY will replace poles and equipment on Wyllie Street in the vicinity of the Maemae Elementary School. Therefore, access to Wyllie Street in both directions will be closed on MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2025, AND TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Traffic will be diverted onto Nuuanu Avenue and Liliha Street. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

No service to Wyllie Street / Opposite Maemae Elementary School (stop #3914), Liliha Street / Analu Street (stop #111), Liliha Street / Ekekela Street (stop #112), Liliha Street / Opposite Halapia Place  (stop #113), and Liliha Street / Hanana Place (stop #114).

8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., unless directed by Police.

ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-McCULLY

 

Eastbound:                TheBus will travel the regular route to Nuuanu/Wyllie, right Wyllie to access on-ramp ’61 SOUTH HONOLULU’, onto Pali Hwy, take next EXIT ‘PAUOA RD’, onto Pauoa, take the next left to access ‘61 PALI HWY-KAILUA’ on-ramp, onto Pali Hwy, take next EXIT ‘WYLLIE ST’, left Nuuanu, and then resume the regular route after crossing over Judd.

 

Westbound:               No detour.
