HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC – UTILITY WORK ON CALIFORNIA AVENUE

HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY is in Phase 3 of Utility Rehabilitation Work on California Avenue. They will remove equipment from the existing poles near California Avenue and Karsten Drive intersections. As a result, the bus stops at California Avenue / Karsten Drive-makai (stop #1653) and California Avenue / Karsten Drive-mauka (stop #1654) will be closed on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Traffic within the area will be contra-flowed onto the makai-bound lane of California Avenue. Passengers may board buses at the bus stops at California Avenue / 2161 (stop #1652) and California Avenue / opposite 2430 (stop #1655).
