Traffic Advisories –

HOLIDAY Parades IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER

 

Parades will be held during the months of November and December in celebration of the holiday season.  These parades will travel along city bus routes, which may impact bus operations.  

 

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28

 

KALIHI BUSINESS ASSOCIATION CHRISTMAS PARADE:  6:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M.

Five hundred marchers, three floats, sixteen vehicles, and one band are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Kalihi Union Church, left on King, continue on King, left Houghtailing, left School to end at Kamehameha Shopping Center.

 

LILIHA / PALAMA CHRISTMAS PARADE:  5:30 P.M. TO 6:30 P.M.

Three hundred marchers and eight vehicles are expected to participate.  The parade will start at United Church of Christ, left Judd, left Liliha, right onto King, continue on King, and finish at the corner of Kohou and King.

 

WAIKIKI HOLIDAY PARADE:  6:00 P.M. TO 10:00 P.M.

Two thousand marchers, ten vehicles, and ten bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Saratoga/Kalakaua, continue on Kalakaua, left onto Monsarrat, and end at Queen Kapiolani Park.

 

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29

 

HAWAII KAI HOLIDAY PARADE:  9:00 A.M. TO 12:00 P.M.

Twelve hundred marchers, thirty vehicles, and three bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Kamiloiki Park, left Lunalilo, continue on Lunalilo, and end at the Koko Marina Shopping Center.

 

MAYOR’S ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY/PARADE:  5:00 P.M. TO 11:00 P.M.

Two thousand marchers, forty vehicles, two floats, and fifteen bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Aala Park, continue on King, and end at South.

 

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4

 

KAIMUKI CHRISTMAS PARADE:  5:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M.

Fifteen hundred marchers, thirty vehicles, and three bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at St. Louis/Chaminade, continue on Waialae, right Koko Head, and finish at the corner of Koko Head and Waialae.

 

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5

 

WAHIAWA TOWN SANTA PARADE:  5:30 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M.

Fifteen hundred marchers, twenty-five floats, one hundred vehicles, and five bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Kaala Elementary School, continue on California, left Cane, left Center, and finish behind the Wahiawa Transit Center.

 

 

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6

 

KANEOHE CHRISTMAS PARADE:  9:00 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M.

Eighteen hundred marchers, fifty-six vehicles, twenty-three floats, and seven bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Windward Mall at Haiku, right Kamehameha, left Kaneohe Bay, and finish at Castle High School.

 

KAPOLEI CITY LIGHTS PARADE:  4:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M 

Fifteen hundred marchers, twenty-five vehicles, three floats, and four bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Fort Barrette/Kapolei Pkwy, continue west on Kapolei Pkwy, and finish at Kealakapu.

 

MILILANI HOLIDAY PARADE:  8:30 A.M. TO 11:00 A.M.

Fifteen hundred marchers, eighty vehicles, five floats, and two bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Mililani High School on Kipapa Dr., continue past Mililani Shopping Center, right Moenamanu, left Kuahelani, right Meheula Pkwy, left Lanikuhana, right into Mililani Town Center.

 

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7

 

MANOA COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARADE:  4:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M.

Eleven hundred marchers, twelve vehicles, and five bands are expected to participate. The parade will start at Noelani Elementary, continue on Woodlawn, onto Kolowalu, right East Manoa, left Lowrey, right Manoa, and end at Manoa Park.

 

PEARL CITY CHRISTMAS PARADE:  4:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M.

Five hundred marchers, nine vehicles, twenty floats, and one band are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Momilani Elementary School, from Hookiekie, right Hoomoana, left Hoolaulea, and end at Pearl City Shopping Center.

 

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11

 

KAPAHULU-MOILIILI CHRISTMAS PARADE:  6:30 P.M. TO 7:30 P.M.

Two hundred and fifty marchers and eight vehicles are expected to participate. The parade will start at Kuhio Elementary School, westbound on King, to Beretania, left Isenberg, and end at the Old Stadium Park.

 

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12

 

HALEIWA TOWN CHRISTMAS PARADE:  5:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M.

Five hundred marchers, fifty vehicles, and four bands are expected to participate. The parade will start at Weed Circle, continue on Kamehameha through Haleiwa Town, and end at Haleiwa Beach Park.

 

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13

 

AIEA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION CHRISTMAS PARADE:  8:00 A.M. TO 10:30 A.M.

Four hundred and fifty marchers, thirty-five vehicles, and three bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Pearlridge Elementary School, eastbound on Moanalua, left Kaamilo, right Ulune, right Aiea Heights, left Halewiliko, and end at the Aiea Library on Halewiliko.

 

WAIANAE COAST CHRISTMAS PARADE:  9:00 A.M. TO 12:00 P.M 

One thousand marchers, thirty vehicles, and five bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Waianae Boat Harbor, continue eastbound on Farrington, and end at Waianae Mall.

 

WAIMANALO CHRISTMAS PARADE:  9:00 A.M. TO 12:00 P.M 

Two hundred and fifty marchers, ten vehicles, five floats, and two bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Hihimanu/Kumuhau, to Kalanianaole, continue westbound on Kalanianaole, and end at Waimanalo Beach Park.

 

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20

 

EWA BEACH LIONS CLUB CHRISTMAS PARADE:  8:00 A.M. TO 11:30 A.M.

Three hundred marchers, forty-five vehicles, ten floats, and two bands are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Ilima Intermediate School, right Fort Weaver, right Kuhina, right Hanakahi, right North, right Fort Weaver, and finish at Ilima Intermediate School.

 

MOANALUA CHRISTMAS PARADE:  6:30 P.M. TO 8:30 P.M.

Three hundred marchers, five vehicles, and one band are expected to participate.  The parade will start at the Moanalua High School parking lot, onto Ala Ilima, right Likini, right Ala Napunani, and end at the Moanalua High School parking lot.

 

OLOMANA CHRISTMAS PARADE:  2:00 P.M. TO 3:30 P.M.

Fifty marchers, six vehicles, and one band are expected to participate.  The parade will start at Maunawili Elementary School, left Ulupii, left Ulupuni, right Uluohao, right Uluhala, left Ulupuni, right Ulukou, and end at Maunawili Elementary School.
