KAPAHULU-MOILIILI CHRISTMAS PARADE

The KAPAHULU-MOILIILI CHRISTMAS PARADE will be held on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2025. The parade will begin at the Kuhio Elementary School, cross King Street to the Mauka side, continue west on King Street, onto Beretania Street, left onto Isenberg Street, and end at the Old Stadium Park. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	1, 1L, 4, 6, & A
AFFECTED AREA:	Westbound lanes of King Street will be closed from Old Waialae Road to University Avenue.
DATE:	Thursday, December 11, 2025
TIME:	From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 1, KALIHI-KAHALA

ROUTE 1L, HALAWA-HAWAII KAI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/University, right University, left Date, left Kapiolani, resuming regular route after crossing Harding.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Old Waialae/H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, take the on-ramp to H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, onto H1 WEST, right EXIT 24B “UNIVERSITY AVENUE”, onto University, right Sinclair Circle, left University to University/Coyne, right Coyne, left Isenberg, right Beretania, resuming regular route.

ROUTE 4, NUUANU-PUNAHOU-MCCULLY

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to University/Coyne, right Coyne, left Isenberg, right Beretania, resuming regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/University, right University, left Date, left Kapiolani, left Old Waialae to Old Waialae/H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, take the on-ramp to H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, onto H1 WEST, right EXIT 24B “UNIVERSITY AVENUE”, onto University, resuming regular route.

ROUTE 6, PAUOA-WOODLAWN

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to King/University, right University, left Date, left Kapiolani, left Old Waialae to Old Waialae/H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, take the on-ramp to H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, onto H1 WEST, right EXIT 24B “UNIVERSITY AVENUE”, onto University, resuming regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to University/Coyne, right Coyne, left Isenberg, right Beretania, resuming regular route.

ROUTE A LINE

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to University/Date, right Date, left Kapiolani, left Old Waialae to Old Waialae/H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, take the on-ramp to H1 “FREEWAY WEST”, onto H1 WEST, right EXIT 24B “UNIVERSITY AVENUE”, onto University, resuming regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel from University/Sinclair terminus, left University to University/Dole, left Dole, veer right onto St Louis, right Waialae, onto Kapiolani, resuming regular route after crossing University.
