ROAD CLOSURE – UTILITY WORK ON LAKE EERIE STREET

 

H.M.S. CONSTRUCTION, INC. is continuing its utility overhead relocation on Lake Eerie Street and a portion of South Avenue. They will be excavating the existing utilities within this area and performing realignment work.  As a result, Lake Eerie Street access at the Central Avenue / Lake Eerie Street intersection will be closed to all vehicular traffic, 24 HOURS A DAY / 7 DAYS A WEEK, starting on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2025, THROUGH FEBRUARY 9, 2026. Passengers may board buses at the portable bus stop located 100 feet past the Port Royal Street / Central Avenue intersection (fronting Building 394).

 

AFFECTED ROUTES: 

PH1, PH2, PH3, PH4, PH6, PH7, & PH8

AFFECTED AREA:

No service to Central Avenue / Port Royal Street (stop #3365) and Lake Eerie Street / Central Avenue (stop #4637).

DATES:

Wednesday, November 12, 2025, through February 9, 2026

TIME:

24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by DOD Police.

 

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

 

ROUTE PH1, WAIANAE COAST-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH2, MILILANI TOWN-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH6, HAWAII KAI-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH7, EWA BEACH-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH3, WAHIAWA HEIGHTS-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH4, KAILUA-KAHALUU-PEARL HARBOR

AM / PM Operations:  From the Port Royal/Central, TheBus will travel right Central, left Port Royal (immediate left), right South, left 11th (into Porter Gate), and then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE PH8, MAKALAPA-PEARL HARBOR

 

Eastbound:    No detour.

 

Westbound:  TheBus will travel the regular route to Port Royal/Central, right Central, left Port Royal (immediate left), left into parking lot (prior to South stop sign), right Fuller, right South, right Port Royal, right Central, and then resume the regular route.
