EASTBOUND CLOSURE OF THE MOANALUA FREEWAY

 

HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION will perform destination sign work, which will require the full closure of the eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, between the Ala Napunani Street overpass and the Puuloa Road overpass. Therefore, the Moanalua Freeway eastbound from Ala Napunani Street on ramp will be closed, on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. During this work, the EXIT 3 ‘AIRPORT / TRIPLER HOSTIPAL’ will be closed with all vehicular traffic being detoured via EXIT 2 ‘RED HILL / MOANALUA VALLEY off-ramp to continue eastbound via Moanalua Road to Ala Napunani Street.

Eastbound on Moanalua Freeway between Ala Napunani overpass and Exit 3 ‘Airport / Tripler Hospital.’

ROUTE 53, HONOLULU-PACIFIC PALISADES

ROUTE 54, HONOLULU-PEARL CITY

 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel the regular route to Moanalua/Ala Napunani, right Ala Napunani, left Salt Lake, left Puuloa, veer right to take H201 EAST ‘HONOLULU’, onto Moanalua Frontage Road, veer onto H201 FRWY EAST, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   No detour.
