HONOLULU RAINBOW EKIDEN RELAY

 

 

The HONOLULU RAINBOW EKIDEN RELAY will be on SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 2026.  This run will start opposite the tennis courts at Kapiolani Park, proceed eastbound through Waikiki, turn around near the Diamond Head second lookout, and return to the start/finish line.  TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

14 & 200

AFFECTED AREAS:

No eastbound service on Kalakaua Avenue near Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head Road between Poni Moi Road and Kahala Avenue.

TIME:

From 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., unless directed by Police.

 

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

 

ROUTE 14, ST. LOUIS-MAUNALANI

 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalakaua/Monsarrat, left Monsarrat, onto Diamond Head, left Kahala, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   No detour.

 

ROUTE 200, KAPIOLANI PARK-PALOLO VALLEY

 

Eastbound:  No detour.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalakaua/Monsarrat, left Monsarrat, right Leahi, right Noela, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.
