JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR –

HALAWA GATE PERMANENT CLOSURE

 

 

The JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR - HALAWA GATE will be permanently closed to all vehicular traffic entering and exiting the base.  Therefore, buses will be detoured starting WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 2026, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

 

AFFECTED ROUTES:

PH1, PH2, PH3, PH4, PH6, & PH7

AFFECTED AREA:

No AM service to Pearl Harbor Halawa Gate (stop #4498), and Neches Avenue / North Road (stop #4499).

DATE:

Wednesday, April 1, 2026, until further notice

TIME:

24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by Police.

 

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

 

ROUTE PH1, WAIANAE COAST-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH2, MILILANI TOWN-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH3, WAHIAWA HEIGHTS-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH4, KAILUA-KAHALUU-PEARL HARBOR

ROUTE PH7, EWA BEACH-PEARL HARBOR

 

AM Operations: TheBus will travel from the Kamehameha/Arizona, continue on Kamehameha, right Radford to Makalapa Gate checkpoint, proceed through Makalapa Gate, right North, left Waterfront, right Gilmore, right Hurt, right North, and then resume the regular route after passing Neches.

 

PM Operations: No detour.

 

 

ROUTE PH6, HAWAII KAI-PEARL HARBOR

 

AM Operations: TheBus will travel from the Kamehameha/Center, continue on Kamehameha, left Radford to Makalapa Gate checkpoint, proceed through Makalapa Gate, right North, left Waterfront, right Gilmore, right Hurt, right North, and then resume the regular route after passing Neches.

 

PM Operations:  No detour.
