HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC – ALEWA DRIVE CLOSURE

HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY will replace poles and conductors along a portion of Alewa Drive between Mamalu Street and Malua Drive. As a result, the bus stops within the work zone will be closed on THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Passengers can board buses at the portable located 100 feet past the Mamalu Street / Alewa Drive intersection or at Alewa Drive / Malua Drive (stop #3947) bus stop. TheBus will service all stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED ROUTE:	10
AFFECTED AREAS:	No service to Alewa Drive / opposite Mamalu Street (stop #3941), Alewa Drive / 1258 (stop #3942), Alewa Drive / 1314 (stop #3943), Alewa Drive / 1380 (stop #3944), and Alewa Drive / 1440 (stop #3945).

ROUTE 10, KALIHI-ALEWA HEIGHTS

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Alewa/Mamalu (TheBus will not continue on Alewa), veer left to continue onto Mamalu, right Malua, merge left onto Alewa, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: No detour.
