FULL CLOSURE TO KONA IKI STREET

BROOKFIELD PROPERTIES will perform emergency plumbing work for The Central Ala Moana condominium with underground access from Kona Street. Therefore, buses will not be allowed access onto Kona Iki Street between Kapiolani Boulevard and Kona Street on THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. All traffic to Ala Moana Center will be detoured onto Piikoi Street and Keeaumoku Street.

Route 7 will service the bus stops at Kapiolani Boulevard / Kona Iki Street (stop #603) and at Kapiolani Boulevard / opposite Kona Iki Street (stop #3055).

AFFECTED ROUTES:	7, 40, 51, 52, 53, & C
AFFECTED AREA:	Abbreviated service on Kona Street for Route 7; No service to Kona Street / opposite Kona Iki Street (stop #847) and Kona Iki Street / Kona Street (stop #4790).

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 7, KALIHI VALLEY-KAHALA

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Piikoi/Kona, continue on Piikoi, right Kapiolani, and then resume the regular route after crossing over Kona Iki.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapiolani/Kona Iki, continue on Kapiolani, left Pensacola, right Waimanu, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 52, HONOLULU-MILILANI-HALEIWA ROUTE 53, HONOLULU-PACIFIC PALASADES

Westbound: From Kona/opp Kona Iki (stop #847), TheBus will continue on Kona, left Mahukona, left Kapiolani, and then resume the regular route after passing Kona Iki.
