ROAD CLOSURE – KALIA ROAD PAVING WORK

ROAD BUILDERS CORPORATION will perform road paving work along portions of Kalia Road between Ala Moana Boulevard and Helumoa Road. As a result, Kalia Road and Saratoga Road will be closed to buses from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on weekdays only, from THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2026, THROUGH TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2026. During the paving work, local traffic only will be maintained for the hotels within the area.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	42, W1, W2, & W3
AFFECTED AREAS:	No service on Kalia Road and Saratoga Road.
DATES:	Thursday, May 7, 2026, through Tuesday, May 12, 2026
TIME:	8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays only, unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 42, EWA BEACH-WAIKIKI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Ala Moana/Kalia, continue on Ala Moana, right Kalakaua, left Kuhio, and then resume regular route after crossing Kalaimoku.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Olohana, continue on Kuhio, onto Kalakaua, right Pau, left Ala Wai, left Niu, onto Ala Moana, and then resume the regular route after crossing Ena.

ROUTE W1, WAIPAHU VIA FARRINGTON

ROUTE W2, WAIPAHU VIA PAIWA EXPRESS

ROUTE W3, KALIHI VIA SCHOOL STREET EXPRESS

PM Operations: TheBus will travel the regular route to Ala Moana/Kalia, continue on Ala Moana, right Kalakaua, left Kuhio, and then resume the regular route after crossing Kalaimoku.
