WAHIAWA TRANSIT CENTER DRIVEWAY CLOSURES

 

ROAD BUILDERS CORPORATION is conducting road paving work along California Avenue between Kamehameha Highway and Plum Street. This work will impact traffic ingress and egress at the Wahiawa Transit Center.  As a result, the bus stops within the Transit Center will be closed on THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traffic in both directions will be diverted onto Cane Street and Lehua Street.  HPD and flaggers will assist with traffic flow at the affected intersection. Passengers may board buses at the portable bus stops on Center Street.

 

AFFECTED ROUTES:

51, 52, 511, & 512

AFFECTED AREAS:

No service to Wahiawa Transit Center.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

 

ROUTE 51, HONOLULU-WAHIAWA

 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel the regular route to Cane/ Center, left Center to the temporary bus stop on Center/Lehua, left Lehua, right California, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to California/Lehua, left Lehua, right Center to the temporary bus stop on Center/Cane, right Cane, left California, rand then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE 52, HONOLULU-MILILANI-HALEIWA

 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel the regular route to Cane/Center, right Center to the temporary bus stop on Center/Lehua, left Lehua, right California, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to California/Lehua, left Lehua, right Center to the temporary bus stop on Center/Cane, left Cane, left Kilani, and then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE 511, WAHIAWA-SCHOFIELD

 

 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel from temporary Transit Center bus stop on Center/Lehua, left Lehua, right California, and then resume the regular route.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to California/Lehua, left Lehua, right Center to temporary Transit Center bus stop on Center/Cane.

 

ROUTE 512, WAHIAWA-WHITMORE

 

 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel the regular route to California/Lehua, right Kilani, right Cane, right Center to temporary Transit Center bus stop on Center/Lehua.

 

Westbound:   TheBus will travel from temporary Transit Center bus stop on Center/Cane, right Cane, right California, and then resume the regular route after passing Wahiawa Transit Center.
