KAILUA 4TH OF JULY Independence Day Parade

The KAILUA 4TH OF JULY INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE will be held on SATURDAY, JULY 4, 2026. The parade will start at Kainalu Drive / Omao Street, proceed along Kainalu Drive, and end at Kailua Intermediate School. This event will have 250 marchers, 45 vehicles, 20 floats, and 3 bands.

AFFECTED AREAS:	No service along Kuulei Road between Kailua Road and Kalaheo Avenue.
DATE:	Saturday, July 4, 2026
TIME:	From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 674, KAILUA-AIKAHI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalaheo/Kuulei, crossover Kuulei to continue on Kalaheo, right Kailua at Kalaheo/Kailua roundabout, veer right to continue on Kailua at Kailua/Wanaao intersection, left Kailua at Kailua/Kuulei intersection, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel from Kailua terminus, veer right to continue on Kailua to Kailua/Wanaao intersection, left Kailua to Kalaheo/Kailua roundabout, exit roundabout via left Kalaheo, after crossing over Kuulei, and then resume the regular route.
