HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC – HOTEL STREET
UNDERGROUND UTILITY WORK
HAWAIIAN
ELECTRIC COMPANY will
be working in the underground vault on the sidewalk area along Hotel Street
between Bishop Street and Alakea Street. As a result,
the eastbound lane of Hotel Street within the affected area will be closed; therefore,
the bus stop located at Hotel Street / Richards Street (stop #130) will be
closed on FRIDAY, JULY 17, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30
p.m. Flaggers and HPD will be
on-site to assist with traffic movement within the work zone. Passengers may
board the buses at the bus stop located at King Street / Alakea
Street (stop #4400).

ROUTE 13, LILIHA-WAIKIKI-UNIVERSITY
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Hotel/Bishop, right
Bishop, left King, and then resume the regular route after crossing over
Richard.
Westbound: No
detour.
