BUS ROUTE ADJUSTMENTS – ROUTE 533 / ROUTE 535

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSIT SERVICES has approved the change to the routing for Route 533 and Route 535 near the Pearl Highlands Shopping Center because of heavy traffic flow at the Kamehameha Highway / Acacia Road intersection. Therefore, the change to the routing for these affected routes will be implemented immediately, starting on THURSDAY, JULY 16, 2026, 24 HOURS A DAY / 7 DAYS A WEEK, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

AFFECTED ROUTES:	533, & 535
AFFECTED AREAS:	Buses to utilize bus-only U-turn to access Kamehameha Highway, and (added) service to Kamehameha Highway / Kuala Street (stop #4880).
DATE:	Thursday, July 16, 2026, until further notice
TIME:	24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 533, PACIFIC PALISADES

ROUTE 535, PEARL CITY PENINSULA-PEARL HIGHLANDS

Eastbound: TheBus will travel from Waiawa Pearl Highlands Station, exit station, enter bus-only U-turn lane to access Kamehameha, onto Kamehameha, right Kuala, and then resume the regular route after crossing over Acacia.

Westbound: No detour.
