NA WAHINE SPRINT TRIATHLON

The NA WAHINE SPRINT TRIATHLON will be held on SUNDAY, JULY 26, 2026, starting with the swim course at 6:00 a.m. Approximately 300 participants will attend this event. The running and biking portions will take place in the Kapiolani Park, Monsarrat, Diamond Head, Kaimuki, and Kahala areas.

AFFECTED AREAS:	Abbreviated service in the Kapiolani Park, Monsarrat, Diamond Head, Kaimuki, and Kahala areas
DATE:	Sunday, July 26, 2026
TIME:	From 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., unless directed by Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 2, SCHOOL-WAIKIKI-KAHALA

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Monsarrat/Makapuu, left Makapuu, right Kilauea, and then resume the regular route after crossing over 18^th Ave.

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to temporary terminus at LeahiHinano.

Westbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel from Leahi/Hinano, continue on Leahi, left Monsarrat, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 8, MAKIKI-ALA MOANA-WAIKIKI

ROUTE 42, EWA BEACH-WAIKIKI

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

Westbound: TheBus will travel from Leahi/Hinano, continue on Leahi, right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 14, ST. LOUIS-MAUNALANI

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kahala/Elepaio, right Elepaio, left Kilauea, left 18th, right Diamond Head onto Monsarrat, left Leahi, right Noela, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE 200, KAPIOLANI PARK-PALOLO VALLEY

Eastbound: No detour.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Poni Moi/Paki.

ROUTE E, COUNTRY EXPRESS! E

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalakaua/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, right Leahi, continue on Leahi to temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

Westbound: TheBus will travel from the temporary terminus, continue on Leahi, right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE W1, WAIPAHU VIA FARRINGTON EXPRESS

ROUTE W2, WAIPAHU VIA PAIWA EXPRESS

ROUTE W3, KALIHI VIA SCHOOL STREET EXPRESS

A.M. Operation: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

Out-of-Service to Kona/Kona Iki

TheBus will travel from Leahi/Hinano continue on Leahi, right Monsarrat, right Paki, onto Ala Wai, left Niu, onto Ala Moana, right Piikoi, right Kona.

Out-of-Service to Leahi (Temporary Terminus)

TheBus will travel the regular route onto H-1 EAST, right Exit 25A “KING ST” onto Harding, right Kapahulu, left Leahi, to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.
