BUS STOP CLOSURE - AUAHI STREET / KAMAKEE STREET

HOWARD HUGHES COMMUNITIES, will begin demolition work on its Ward Centre shopping plaza at 1200 Ala Moana Boulevard. Therefore, the bus stop at Auahi Street / Kamakee Street (stop #846) will be closed, starting at 8:30 a.m. on MONDAY, JULY 27, 2026, 24 HOURS A DAY / 7 DAYS A WEEK, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Passengers may board buses at the bus stops at Ala Moana Boulevard / opposite Kamakee Street (stop #955) or at Ala Moana Boulevard / opposite Queen Street (stop #956). TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

AFFECTED AREA:	No service to Auahi Street / Kamakee Street (stop #846).
DATE:	Monday, July 27, 2026, until further notice
TIME:	24 hours a day / 7 days a week, unless directed by the Police.

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE 6, PAUOA-WOODLAWN

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Auahi/Kamakee, right Kamakee, left Ala Moana, after crossing over Queen, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: No detour.
