SERVICE MODIFICATIONS FOR AUGUST 2026
As
directed by the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Transportation
Services, the following modifications will be implemented effective Sunday, August
23, 2026.
ROUTE
41
Route is being modified to improve
service through Ka Makana Alii.
Eastbound: Kapolei
Transit Center to Fort Weaver Road/Ewa Transit Center: TheBus will travel
the regular eastbound route to the bus stop at Opposite Ka Makana Alii West,
left after the “Stop” sign by Hampton Inn, left at the Ka Makana Alii driveway
leading to Kinoiki Street, right Kapolei Parkway, and
then resume the regular eastbound route.
Westbound: No
change
ROUTE 44
Route is being modified to improve
service through Ka Makana Alii.

Westbound: Hoaeae West Loch Station to Keoneae
UH West Oahu Station: TheBus will travel the regular westbound route to the
bus stop at Opposite Ka Makana Alii West, left after the “Stop” sign by Hampton
Inn, left at the Ka Makana Alii driveway leading to Kinoiki
Street, right Kapolei Parkway, and then resume the regular westbound route.

Highlands Station: TheBus will travel the regular eastbound route to Waiawa
Pearl Highlands Station, use bus-only U-Turn to Kamehameha Highway, right Kuala
Street, and then resume the regular eastbound route.
Eastbound: Komo
Mai Drive/Opposite Aumakua Street to Pearl City Bus Facility: TheBus will
travel the regular eastbound route to Kamehameha Highway/Waimano Home Road, continue on Kamehameha Highway, right Kuala, and then resume
the regular eastbound route.
Westbound: No

Route is being modified to improve
access to Kuala Street.
Eastbound: Waiawa Pearl Highlands Station to
Franklin Avenue/Robinson Avenue: From Waiawa Pearl Highlands Station, TheBus
will use bus-only U-Turn to Kamehameha Highway, right Kuala Street, and then
resume the regular eastbound route.

is being modified, and the eastbound terminus to be relocated to Kaonohi
Street/Opposite Iho Place.

Pearl Harbor, Route PH1 will be rerouted to the Makalapa
Gate.

Street/Makau Street to O’Malley Boulevard/Hickam AFB Main Gate: TheBus will
travel the regular eastbound route to Kamehameha Highway/Opposite Salt Lake
Boulevard, right Makalapa Drive to Makalapa Gate Security check point, operate regular “LOCAL”
service via North road, left Waterfront Street, right
Gilmore Street, right Hurt Avenue, right North Road, and then resume the
regular eastbound route.
