MORE THAN PINK WALK

 

The MORE THAN PINK WALK will be on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2026, with road closures starting at 6:00 a.m.  This event will begin at 8:45 a.m. with approximately 3,000 participants. It will start at Queen Kapiolani Park, onto Monsarrat Avenue, right onto Paki Avenue (Makai side), right onto Kalakaua Avenue, and return to the Kapiolani Park Bandstand. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

  

AFFECTED ROUTES:

8, 42, E, W1, W2, & W3

AFFECTED AREAS:

No service on Monsarrat Avenue between Kalakaua Avenue and Paki Avenue.

From 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., unless directed by Police.

 

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

 

 


ROUTE 8, MAKIKI-ALA MOANA-WAIKIKI

ROUTE 42, EWA BEACH-WAIKIKI


 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuhio/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu, right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

 

Westbound: From the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano, TheBus will continue on Leahi, right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE E, COUNTRY EXPRESS! E

 

Eastbound:    TheBus will travel the regular route to Kalakaua/Kapahulu, left Kapahulu [TheBus will service Kapahulu/opp Cartwright (stop #4350)], right Leahi to the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano.

 

Westbound:   From the temporary terminus at Leahi/Hinano, TheBus will continue on Leahi, right Monsarrat, right Paki, and then resume the regular route.

 

ROUTE W1, WAIPAHU VIA FARRINGTON EXPRESS

ROUTE W2, WAIPAHU VIA PAIWA EXPRESS

ROUTE W3, KALIHI VIA SCHOOL STREET EXPRESS
