YOUTH FARE

Youth is a person 6 - 17 years of age (proof of age required). Youth includes high school students up to 19 years of age who have a valid high school identification card or proof of enrollment. A Youth HOLO card is required to qualify for the reduced fare.

The Youth HOLO Card is available at Satellite City Halls or the Transit Pass Office with proof of age and a Government-issued photo ID.Youth Fare Form (pdf version) (online order) required.

Fare to be paid upon each boarding. Rider must present their Youth HOLO Card to pay the reduced fare.  
One (1) Child 5 years and under is FREE when riding with a fare-paying rider and not occupying a seat.

Passes purchased after the 20th of the month will be active starting on the 1st day of the next month.
 

Youth HOLO cards will expire on June 30 after the youth reaches age 18 or on the youth’s birthday if born after June 30. Please submit proof of high school enrollment if youth age is 18 or 19. 

State of Hawaii ID, Driver’s License/Permit, Birth Certificate (with photo ID), or Passport is required for age verification. A parent or legal guardian may apply for their child’s youth pass with a Government-issued photo ID and their child’s form of ID.
