Relocation of Kilani Avenue Bus Stops Routes 52 and 83 Effective Friday, January 20, 2012, two (2) bus stops on Kilani Avenue that currently service Routes 52, Wahiawa-Circle Island and 83, Wahiawa Town Express, will be relocated from their current locations. These bus stops were initially established on October 25, 2011, when the new Wahiawa Transit Center was opened. The City’s Department of Transportation/Public Transit Division has determined that these new locations would better service bus patrons patronizing Wahiawa General Hospital and those residing in the upper Kilani Avenue areas. Temporary portable stand bus stop signs are being installed with "NO PARKING ANYTIME/TOW AWAY ZONE" barricades because DTS also would like any feedback from bus patrons and the neighborhood first, before making a final decision to permanently establish these bus stops. NOTE: The current eastbound Kilani Avenue mauka of Mango Street bus stop will remain at its current location. ROUTES 52 AND 83 BUS STOP RELOCATIONS EFFECTIVE FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2012 Eastbound: (Haleiwa to Wahiawa-Honolulu)
