With ongoing road paving to the resort parking lots, Turtle Bay Resort will be closing bus operations to their facility on Kuilima Drive, on MONDAY, MAY 23, 2022, THROUGH FRIDAY, MAY 27, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.
Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:
ROUTE 60 Honolulu-Kaneohe-Haleiwa
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuilima Drive/Lalo Kuilima Pl. to temporary terminus, U-turn on Kuilima Dr., and then resume the regular route.
Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Kuilima Drive/Lalo Kuilima Pl. to temporary terminus, U-turn on Kuilima Dr., and then resume the regular route.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY – H-1 FREEWAY ON-RAMP CLOSURE FROM HONOLULU AIRPORT
The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT), Highways Division, will be conducting full nightly closures of the westbound and eastbound on-ramps from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL Airport) to the H-1 Freeway, starting on SATURDAY, MAY 21, 2022, UNTIL FURHTER NOTICE. During the closure, traffic will be detoured onto Paiea Street and to Nimitz Highway, where they may access the H-1 Freeway. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.
Buses will DETOUR as outlined below: ROUTE 303, HICKAM-AIRPORT-KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER
Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to Airport Upper Level, proceed down ramp to Paiea, continue on Paiea, right Nimitz, left Puuloa, right Pukoloa, left Ahua, right Kikowaena access road to H-1 EAST, onto King St, right Middle, left Kalihi Transit Center, and then resume the regular route. Westbound: No detour.

Punchbowl National Cemetery to Alapai Transit Center (DESTINATION SIGN – 123 ALAPAI TRANSIT CENTER): From the designated pick-up area, TheBus will continue on Inner Drive, left onto the Mall Drive South, at the flagpole continue across onto Cemetery Drive, onto Puowaina (to service Papakolea), onto Tantalus, right Makiki Heights, right Mott-Smith, right Nehoa, onto Prospect, left Ward, right Kapiolani, right South, right King, left into the Alapai Transit Center. |

Hawaiian Electric (HECO) will be conducting utility work to poles on THURSDAY, MAY 19, 2022, from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Keeaumoku Street between Liona Street and Rycroft Street. Local traffic and TheBus will be allowed through the area.

With ongoing rail work at the Middle Street Rail Station, there will be a full closure to a portion of Kamehameha Highway between Middle Street and Puuhale Road. The closure will be nightly (Sundays through Thursdays), from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., starting on THURSDAY, APRIL 28, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. All eastbound traffic from the H-1 Freeway will be diverted onto Middle Street, and the Dillingham Boulevard access ramp from Nimitz Highway will be diverted onto Nimitz Highway. All westbound traffic from Dillingham Boulevard, will be directed onto Puuhale Road. TheBus will service any stops along the detour route.

ADVISORY – UTILITY WORK ON ALAKEA STREET
Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. will be closing a portion of Alakea Street between Hotel Street and Beretania Street for utility connections to a new building, starting on SUNDAY, APRIL 17, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, from 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Sunday to Thursday. During the utility connections, three lanes of Alakea Street will be closed.

In an effort to preserve the availability and capabilities of
security forces and to reduce traffic, there will be a reduction
of operations at the JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR - HICKAM KUNTZ
GATE. Buses will be detoured weekdays from 6:00 p.m.
until 9:00 p.m. and
all day on weekends,
starting on TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 2020, UNTIL
FURTHER NOTICE. TheBus
will service all bus stops along the detour route.

route after crossing Elliott.

will travel the regular route to Nimitz/Elliott, continue on
Nimitz, take exit 92 WEST “JOINT BASE PHH”, veer to the far left
lanes to Hickam Main Gate, right access ramp to Kuntz, continue
on Kuntz, U-turn at the Hickam Car Wash, and then resume the
regular route.
