A portion of Farrington Hwy. between Mokuola St. and Waipahu Depot Rd. will be closed on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2017, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. due to the rail project. TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

Eastbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to Nimitz/Lagoon, merge left three lanes after passing Lagoon, take on-ramp to “DILLINGHAM BLVD” onto Kamehameha, onto Dillingham, right Puuhale, left Nimitz, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound:  No detour.


HONOLULU CENTURY BIKE RIDE 

The HONOLULU CENTURY BIKE RIDE will be held on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2017, starting at 6:15 a.m.  Approximately 3,200 participants are expected.  Monsarrat Ave. will be closed between Kalakaua and Paki for the start of the race.  Routes that terminate on Monsarrat will be detoured from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 8:15 a.m.  No other detours will be necessary.  The entire ride is expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m.

8, 42, E, W1, W2, & W3

AFFECTED AREA:

The ride will start at Kapiolani Park, proceed through Diamond Head, Hawaii Kai, and along the Windward Coast to Swanzy Beach Park.  Riders will return along the same route to the finish point at Kapiolani Park.

Burns Freeway, right EXIT 15 “KANEOHE BAY DRIVE,” right Kaneohe Bay Dr., onto N. Kalaheo, and then resume the regular route.


FARRINGTON HIGHWAY P.M. CONTRAFLOW 

The Farrington Hwy. Afternoon Contraflow will begin on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 10, 2016, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The eastbound lanes along Farrington Hwy. will be reduced to one lane and will restrict left turns onto Nanakuli Ave.  TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.
