BUS STOP CLOSURE – MONSARRAT AVENUE / CAMPBELL AVENUE

HECO will be upgrading equipment on Monsarrat Avenue; therefore, the bus stop located at Monsarrat Avenue / Campbell Avenue (stop #236), will be closed on MONDAY, AUGUST 8, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Passengers may board buses at the portable bus stop located 100 feet prior to the original bus stop.

2L, 23, & 24

No service to Monsarrat Avenue / Campbell Avenue (stop #236)

BUS STOP CLOSURE – LEOLUA STREET / LEOKU STREET TERMINUS

HECO will be removing and replacing a pole on Leolua Street. Therefore, the bus stop located at Leolua Street / Leoku Street (stop #3379) will be closed, starting at 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., on MONDAY, AUGUST 8, 2022.  Passengers may board the bus at the bus stop located on Leoku Street / Farrington Highway (stop #1017).

Buses will DETOUR as outlined below:

ROUTE A, CITY EXPRESS! A

Eastbound:   TheBus will travel from the temporary terminus, left Leolua, right Kunia, right Waipahu, and after servicing Leoku/Farrington (stop #1017), resume the regular route.

Westbound:  TheBus will travel the regular route to Farrington/Leoku, right Leoku, and then continue on Leoku to the temporary terminus at Leoku/Leolua (stop #1384).


BUS STOP CLOSURE – KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY / OPPOSITE KAPALAI ROAD 

HECO will be conducting pole replacement work on Kamehameha Highway; therefore, the bus stop located at Kamehameha Highway / Opposite Kapalai Road (Stop #1714), will be closed on FRIDAY, AUGUST 5, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Passengers may board buses at the portable located 100 feet past the original bus stop.

HECO will be conducting work to several poles on Kalanianaole Highway between Kalaniiki Street to Ainakoa Avenue.  Therefore, the bus stop located at Kalanianaole Highway / Kalaniiki Street (Stop #216), will be closed on TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Passengers may board buses at the Kalanianaole Highway / Kalani High School (Stop #215) bus stop.

BUS STOP CLOSURE PALI HIGHWAY / DOWSETT AVENUE (MAKAI) 

The bus stop located at Pali Highway / Dowsett Avenue [Makai] (stop #349), will be closed starting MONDAY, AUGUST 1, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  Passengers may board buses at the Pali Highway / Puiwa Road (stop #348) bus stop.

No service Pali Highway / Dowsett Avenue [Makai] (stop #349)

BUS STOP CLOSURE PALI HIGHWAY / LAIMI ROAD 

The bus stop located at Pali Highway / Laimi Road (stop #346), will be closed starting from 9:00 a.m. on MONDAY, AUGUST 1, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  Passengers may board buses at the Pali Highway / Queen Emma Summer Palace (stop #347) bus stop.

65, 66, 67, & 121

AFFECTED AREA:

No service Pali Highway / Laimi Road (stop #346)

STARTING:

From 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2022, until further notice

BUS STOP CLOSURE – METCALF STREET / UNIVERSITY AVENUE

Moss and Associates, will be doing construction work on the corner of Metcalf Street / University Avenue.  The bus stop located at Metcaf Street / University Avenue (stop #298), will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays only starting on MONDAY, JULY 11, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  Passengers may board buses at the portable bus stop placed 100 feet past Metcalf Street / University Avenue bus stop.

BUS STOP RELOCATIONHOTEL STREET / MAUNAKEA STREET 

BRAND SAFWAY is conducting construction repairs to the Wo Fat Building on the corner of Hotel Street and Maunakea Street.  The eastbound bus stop located at Hotel Street and Maunakea Street (stop #126), will be relocated 24 hours day / 7 days a week, starting on TUESDAY, JUNE 7, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  Passengers may board buses at the portable bus stop placed 100 feet prior to the stop.

AFFECTED AREA:

Bus relocation for Hotel Street and Maunakea Street (stop #126)

BUS STOP CLOSURE – WHITMORE AVENUE / KULIA STREET 

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) began Phase 1 of Whitmore Avenue Sidewalk Improvements on the north side of Whitmore Avenue between Uakaniko’o Street and the west end of Ihi’ihi Avenue.  Therefore, the bus stop located at Whitmore Avenue / Kulia Street (Stop #2803), will be closed starting MONDAY, JUNE 6, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  Passengers may board buses at the bus stop located on Whitmore Avenue and Lalawai Street (Stop #2802).

ROUTE E DETOUR

Due to ongoing resurfacing work to Ala Moana Shopping Center ramps, the bus stops located at Kona Street / opposite Keeaumoku Street (stop #760), and Mahukona Street / Atkinson Drive (stop #427) will be closed, on THURSDAY, APRIL 7, 2021, until further notice. The Route E will be detoured onto Ala Moana Boulevard via Kamakee Street, and to only service the two portable bus stops located at Kamakee Street / Queen Street, and the Ala Moana Boulevard opposite Shopping Center (stop #1102) bus stop.

ROUTE E, COUNTRY EXPRESS

Eastbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to Kapiolani/Kamakee, right Kamakee, left Ala Moana, after passing Atkinson, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound:   TheBus will travel the regular route to Ala Moana/Piikoi, continue on Ala Moana, right Kamakee, left Kapiolani, and then resume the regular route.


BUS STOP CHANGES – KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY / POHAKU LOA WAY 

Effective Sunday, March 13, 2022, bus stop #2563 (Kamehameha Hwy. + Pohaku Loa Way) will be deactivated. 

Westbound:

  • Route 60 (Honolulu - Kaneohe - Haleiwa)

 

Eastbound:

  • Route 88A (North Shore Express)

 


NEW BUS STOP - HAIKU ROAD/OPPOSITE EMEPELA PLACE

Effective Monday, March 28, 2022, the following bus stop located on Haiku Road will be serviced by Route 65 in the westbound direction and by Route PH4 in both the eastbound and westbound directions.

Westbound:

  • Route 65 (Honolulu - Kaneohe - Ahuimanu)

Eastbound and Westbound:

  • Route PH4 (Kaneohe - Kahaluu - Pearl Harbor Express)

BUS STOP CHANGES – LANIAKEA BEACH

EFFECTIVE SUNDAY, MARCH 13, 2022

Effective Sunday, March 13, 2022, the DTS will discontinue Bus Stop #2563 fronting Laniakea Beach. 

The nearest bus stops will be at:

·       #2562 (Kamehameha Hwy + Pohaku Loa Wy)

·       #2564 (Kamehameha Hwy + 61-676)
