AUGUST ROUTE MODIFICATIONS

EFFECTIVE SUNDAY, AUGUST 21, 2022

As directed by the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Transportation Services, the following major modifications will be implemented effective Sunday, August 21, 2022.

ROUTE E, COUNTRY EXPRESS! E

Route modified to discontinue service through Ala Moana Shopping Center and provide

2-way service along Kamakee Street.

Eastbound: TheBus will travel the regular eastbound route to Kapiolani Boulevard/Ward Avenue, continue on Kapiolani Boulevard, right Kamakee Street, left Ala Moana Boulevard, and then resume the regular route.

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular westbound route to Ala Moana Boulevard/Atkinson Drive, continue on Ala Moana Boulevard, right Kamakee Street, left Kapiolani Boulevard, and then resume the regular route.

ROUTE U1, CAMPUS CONNECTOR EXPRESS

Newly established route on a pilot basis to provide AM and PM trips Monday through Friday between downtown and Kapiolani Community College. Route to provide ZOOM scheduling in the AM only.

Eastbound: TheBus will travel from Bishop Street/Hotel Street, left King Street (see Zoom Schedule note), left Piikoi Street, right Wilder Avenue, left Metcalf Street, right University Avenue, left Date Street, left Kapiolani Boulevard, continue onto Waialae Avenue, right Koko Head Avenue, left Pahoa Avenue, right 18^thAvenue, and then turn right Diamond Head Road to Diamond Head Road/Makapuu Avenue (Bus Stop #230). Zoom Schedule: TheBus will operate Zoom Scheduling after servicing Bus Stop #1405 (King Street/Alakea Street) until Diamond Head Road/Makapuu Avenue.

Westbound: TheBus will travel from Diamond Head Road/Opposite Kapiolani Community College (Bus Stop #240), left 18^th Avenue, left Pahoa Avenue, right Koko Head Avenue, left Waialae Avenue, continue on Kapiolani Boulevard, right Date Street, right University Avenue, left Metcalf Street, right Wilder Avenue, left Pensacola Street, right Beretania Street, left Bishop Street, left Queen Street, and then turn left Alakea Street to Alakea Street/King Street (Bus Stop #743).

ROUTE W1, WAIPAHU via FARRINGTON EXPRESS

There will be 1 additional AM trip and 1 additional PM trip on Weekday, Saturday, Sunday, and State Holiday.

ROUTE W2, WAIPAHU via PAIWA EXPRESS

There will be 1 additional AM trip on weekdays.

ROUTE 2L, KALIHI-WAIKIKI-KAHALA LIMITED

Route 2L to provide Zoom scheduling in both directions, eastbound from Kalihi Transit Center and westbound from Hunakai Street/Waialae Avenue.

ROUTE 81, WAIPAHU EXPRESS

There will be 2 additional AM trips and 1 additional PM trip on weekdays.

Route 85, Windward Express – Kaneohe

There will be 1 additional AM trip on weekdays.
